edit-Well this makes no sense, at all, now. As you can see, as few days after this post I scrubbed the new, buttery color and practically everything else about the old design in favor of whatcha got here.

Is it too much?

I like it. It's an elegant yellow.
Change your layout to fit your mood, I always say. I completely overhaul mine about three times a year because it's fun and cheaper than redoing, say, a living room.
I like it but then yellow has always been my favorite color. Sunshine you know.
